Kerry Messersmith Volleyball Camps at UAB
Facilities and Directions

UAB Volleyball Camps are held in the Bartow Arena on the UAB Campus.  Resident campers will use the Blazer Hall, UAB's Freshman dorm facility, as their lodging during camp.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO UAB

FROM THE NORTH –
To Bartow Arena
Take I-65 South
Exit at 4th Ave. South (UAB)
Follow around to the Left (Stay in the RIGHT LANE)
Go to the 2nd light (13th Street South) and go RIGHT
Come up 2 blocks.  Go through the intersection of 6th Ave. & 13th Street
The Bartow Arena will be on our LEFT
The Bell/Wallace Facility is on your RIGHT
The entrances face 13th Street
To Blazer Hall
Follow the above directions until you have gone through the intersection of 6th Ave. & 13th Street and passed Bartow arena.
Continue on 13th St. until University Blvd. and take a left.
Go approximately 3 blocks and take a right on 16th Street.
Blazer hall is on 16th Street just past 9th Avenue.

FROM THE SOUTH –
To Bartow Arena
Take I-65 North
Exit at University Blvd.
Follow around to the RIGHT (Stay in LEFT LANE)
At the 2nd Light (just under the cement “UAB” walkway) GO LEFT on 13th Street South
The Bartow Arena will be ahead on your RIGHT
The Bell/Wallace Facility is ahead on your LEFT
The entrances face 13th Street

Blazer Hall

To Blazer Hall
Take I-65 North
Exit at University Blvd.
Follow around to the RIGHT
Take University Blvd. to 16th Street and take a right.
Blazer Hall is on 16th Street just past 9th Avenue.

FROM THE WEST –
To Bartow Arena
Take I-20/50 East towards Birmingham
Take I-65 South
Exit at 4th Ave. South (UAB)
Follow around to the Left (Stay in the RIGHT LANE)
Go to the 2nd light (13th Street South) and go RIGHT
Come up 2 blocks.  Go through the intersection of 6th Ave. & 13th Street
The Bartow Arena will be on our LEFT
